Summary:
One year has passed since the Black Rebellion, a failed revolt against the Holy Britannian Empire headed by the now-missing masked crusader Zero. Without its revolutionary commander, Area 11's resistance force, the Black Knights, is impotent to confront Britannia's violence against the Elevens, which has grown substantially in order to squash any possibility of a future uprising.
Lelouch Lamperouge, who has forgotten all recollection of his double life, is a high school student at Ashford Academy, living quietly with his pals. Unable to accept this change of affairs, his old companion C.C. takes it upon herself to remind him of his previous mission, hoping that the genius Zero would rise once again to complete what he started.
